Huh, someone actually reads these?

Well, here it goes. When you create an account, I do require some info on your behalf such as a username and your email. Your email will be used to verify your account and I will also use it to send out newsletters, when they will exist and only if you give me permission (meaning if you subscribe).

The only exceptions to this rule are highly important e-mails with regards to change in these terms, any and all new features on the website or any and all emergency emails that would require your attention.

Your email will never be publicly displayed, so don't worry about that. Your username will be displayed on the website whenever you leave a comment or review.

I don't run ads on this site, therefore I don't really care that much about your other cookies. If that changes in the future, I will notify you.

And since you made an effort and actually clicked on this page, here is a cookie recipe:

  • 250 grams of butter, 82% fat (at room temperature)
  • 5 teaspoons of honey (if you want to serve these to your kid, make sure to only put honey if he is at least 1 year old)
  • 1 small bottle of rum essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 grams of flour
  • half a teaspoon of baking powder
  • 3 spoons of carob powder
  • 100 grams of ground nuts

How does one prepare these? Well, you simply have to put in the ingredients in a bowl and mix them.

If you have to use a manual mixer, then you should start by mixing the butter, honey and rum. After that, add each egg one after the other and then everything else until your dough has a uniform texture.

If you have a planetary mixer, then you cand put everything in the bowl from the start.

Once you have the dough, you can use it to model these cookies in a meatball like shape and put them in the oven. Make sure your oven is pre-heated at 180 degrees Centigrade.

Make sure you are not allergic to any of these ingredients and I hope you enjoy them.
